Representative Wes McKinley, Colorado Legislature, introduced a Bill, number 10-1127, "Concerning Information to be provided at Rocky Flats."  Though Representative McKinley's Bill was defeated, the US Government intends to make the innocuous sounding "Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge" into a facility that welcomes visitors and promotes field trips for school children despite the lack of good science, inefficient clean-up and unmitigated presence of Plutonium, Cesium and Strontium, among other deadly and inclement contaminants.

Rocky Flats is about 16 miles northwest of metropolitan Denver but it could happen to you too.

On March 8, 2010 Representative McKinley, Westword Editor Patricia Calhoun and I were guests of Peter Boyles, KHOW 630 AM at Denver.

On March 9, 2010 I testified before the Colorado State Committee, that will recommend whether the Bill will be heard by the Colorado Legislature, along with Dr. Harvey Nichols (CU Professor) and other knowledgable citizens.

Please, read the proposed Bill by Wes and show your support. Write your Congressional Representative so that it is not up to Colorado politics to decide what is just plain common sense that the Rocky Flats Wildlife Refuge is not safe for any kind of life.  Do not tread on the property for more than 250,000 years.
